The First Tea Party!

Greetings you fabulous fellow creatures. We hope you are doing amazing and we'd like to formally welcome you to the first post on the Fantastical Whims Blog!

As this is the first post, we wanted to start off by talking about one of our favorite topics…Writing!! Specifically finding the time to indulge in getting our thoughts and ideas on paper... or screen.

Like with most things, writing is a process and one that needs attention whenever the whim hits you ( haha! See what we did there!😅) These whims tend to hit usually at 3 in the morning and you have to get up in five hours to go to work. Or being in a place where you don’t have access to jot down your thoughts. In these cases we all find ways to get creative.

For example Red Panda will use the notes app on her phone. While the Mad Badger will store a small note book in her desk at work. We have found on different websites as well that you can write out your ideas and store them for a later time. Archive of Our Own (AO3) and Tumblr are some really great places to get out some of those thoughts. Obviously these aren’t the only ways, but are a few that we have found to help us when in the moment.
